Teacher Biography 

cool Welcome to Second Grade! cool

 Mrs. Marin

Hello! My name is Mrs. Beth Ann Marin.

I am excited to begin my second year at St. A's as the Second Grade teacher!  I was born, raised, and currently reside in Philadelphia with my husband. 

I am a proud alumna of Saint Hubert High School, Chestnut Hill College, and Holy Family University.

I want to ignite a love for learning and discovery in all of my students and I feel blessed to be a part of their journey. I believe respect, responsibility, and kindness are the foundations upon which learning is built and I encourage my students to believe in their own ability to grow and achieve.

General Reminders

First in Math - Students should practice Just the Facts for at least 10 minutes each night.

Take Home Folders - Please check each night and initial your child’s Behavior Calendar.

Please initial Homework sheet (glued into Student Planner) each night.

Missions - We are collecting for Project Home this year.  Please donate when/if you are able.

Please login to Option C at least once a week to check for messages that may be sent home.  I use Option C as a primary method of communication.  

Labels containing the login information for both Journeys Think Central and First in Math can be found on the first page of the Student Planner.  Students should use First in Math as assigned to gain fluency with their math facts.  

Brown Envelopes containing communications from the office will be sent home periodically.  Please remove all paperwork and sign and date the envelope before sending it back to school the next day.

Orange Test Folders will be sent home periodically.  Please review and sign all assessments and send the folder back to school the next day.

All Saints Day Project

We will be celebrating All Saints Day on Thursday, November 1.  The First and Second Grade will be working together to introduce the Saint Athanasius Community to their Saints.  The Second Grade will be dressing up as a Saint and will be sharing important facts about their Saints lives.  Information will be sent home this week.
