Teacher Biography

Hello! My name is Mrs. Beth Ann Marin. I am excited and honored to join Saint Athanasius School as the 7thand 8th Grade teacher of English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Religion!

I was born, raised, and currently reside in Philadelphia with my husband of nearly 15 years, Paul. We are blessed to have the love of our parents, siblings and their spouses, and three beautiful nieces and one charming nephew.

I am a proud alumna of Saint Hubert High School, Chestnut Hill College, where I earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Art History with a minor in English, and Holy Family University, where I earned a Master of Education degree.

I am looking to ignite a love for learning and discovery in my students and I feel blessed to be a part of their journey. I believe respect, responsibility, and kindness are the foundations upon which learning is built and I encourage my students to believe in their ability to grow and achieve.

Some of my favorite things…

Movies: The Goonies, When Harry Met Sally, Amelie, Little Miss Sunshine

Television: Reruns of Friends and Gilmore Girls

Bands: The Cure, Iron & Wine, Tori Amos

Foods: Pizza, Crepes, Strawberries, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Color: Green

Season: Fall

Hobbies: Traveling, Gardening, Reading, Visiting Art Museums, Concerts
