7th/8th Gr Mr Coey
Teacher Biography
Mr. Coey
Hello! My name is Mr. Charles Coey. I am the math, science, and religion teacher for the 7th and 8th grades. I am still very new to teaching middle school students, but I do have several years experience teaching at the college level.
I struggled learning math when I was in middle and high school. Then, thanks to good teachers, I started to really understand and enjoy it. I volunteered as a math tutor and discovered the joy of teaching. So, I have a lot of empathy for students who struggle, and I want to help them see they can overcome those challenges!
I am privileged to be here teaching your children at St. A's. I am very happy to speak with you about their progress and performance, or if you have any questions or concerns at all. Sorry for the very long delay! I have updated the homework slides as of 2/2/26. I will try to keep up with this. Please note that Google Classroom is the normal way that I communicate with the students about their assignments, so you can always check there too.
